since last week, i'm having errors with mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail install scripts. apt-get update generated errors when it configured my enigmail. so i have to apt-get remove --purge mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail to correct the errors. but i got post-installations script errors.
the trick, remove the post-installation script for the package. all pre/post installation scripts can be found at /var/lib/dpkg/info/
rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail.prerm
rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail.postrm
apt-get remove --purge mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail
i still have the annoying segmentation fault error with mozilla package from debian sarge :(
